Program Feature: Teen Writing

Do you know a teen looking to hone their unique creative voice? Register for the Teen Writers Multi-Group Workshop: Saturday Mornings which begins Saturday, October 24!

Tuition assistance is available to all who request it. Just check the “I want to talk about tuition assistance” box when you register!

This workshop will allow students to explore fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and more. Each meeting will feature different Teaching Artists (Rebekah Coxwell, Synnika Lofton, Remy Smidt, and more!) and will be focused on different genres, with creative exercises, prompts, and readings.

Students can learn a new genre or sharpen their skills while working on something they are already writing and have ample time to share and comment on each other’s work. Plus, we’ll have a visit or two from our comic book writing teacher, Kristin Mehaffey, to work with visual stories!
