Kris Eldred

Kris Eldred, currently a program specialist at Virginia Beach Public Library, taught how to write comics at the Muse from 2016 to 2021. Their students ranged in all ages and experience levels, whether they were adults taking the 101 course or children engaging in workshops. They got thier start making comics in middle school for the school newspaper. Since then they have freelanced for sequential artwork and character design, with clients such as The Virginia Zoo, Studio Center, and The Governor's School for the Arts. They were published in Whurk Magazine, tabled at NOICE, and other conventions.
