Manoli Kouremetis
Manoli Kouremetis has been writing plays and fiction for almost twenty years. Manoli’s full-length play, The Rendezvous, received an unstaged reading through The Hatchery Series at the Zeiders American Dream Theater in 2016. His second play produced through The Hatchery, Saint Irene’s, received its fully staged premiere at the Zeiders in January of 2020. He received his MFA in Creative Writing from Old Dominion University where he has served as part of the adjunct faculty since 2006. His fiction has appeared in literary journals such as Chautauqua Literary Journal, Panhandler Magazine, and The Southeast Review. His poetry has appeared in reviews such as , and Upstreet. Locally, he has worked with the Virginia Stage Company's Public Works program to mount the play Between Sound and Silence for the Hampton Roads deaf and hard of hearing community. Manoli lives in Chesapeake with his wife, son, and daughter.
