Kelsey Holden-Northerner

Kelsey is a singer/songwriter, poet, teacher, and amateur fiction novelist in the 757.
She has performed her original songs solo, as Kelsey Vivien, and with her band, Kelsey Vivien and the Clouds. Kelsey has also performed her original music several times on The Hampton Roads Show.
One of her newest poems, "a smile inside me is growing", will be published, alongside many other talented local poets, in the 2023 Write Heart Publishing anthology.
Kelsey enjoys spending her days playing, reading, and learning with her two children, DW and Raelynn (ages 8 and 3). With her husband, she spends the nights watching dorky tv shows (currently Ahsoka) or playing video games (right now, TOTK).
Kelsey's ideal writing time is in the early morning, when the world is just waking up. The feeling of writing before the sun comes up is unmatched, in her book.
Kelsey is an avid lover of all things creativity, and believes that everyone has the ability to express themselves creatively, whether that be through music, writing, visual art, or even dance.
Truly believing that everyone is worthy and worthwhile propels Kelsey to aid people in their journeys of creative expression.
"Let's write the story, together!"
