Your Writer’s Life: On Not Losing Your Soul to Publishing

In this class we will explore ways to manifest a writer’s life that feels authentic and positive to you. How can you make time and space to write and feel good about your writing practice? How can you find your place in a writers’ community that is nurturing to you and your work? We will also talk about what a publishing journey could look like for you, with details about the pre- and post-publishing life meant to leave you excited for your next steps. We will end with an intention-setting autobiographical exercise that will help you imagine the kind of writer you want to be in the world.

Please note: This class is an online class. To participate, students must have a stable internet connection with a computer or device with a webcam and microphone.

The MuseTeacher: Diane Zinna

Prerequisite: Open to: writers of all levels of experience
