Word Pictures: How to Write an Image Your Readers Can See

If you’re struggling with writing clear images your reader can see, this class is for you. The goal of our time together is to learn to create an image your readers will become emotionally involved in. Whether you are writing poetry or prose, strong images are the difference between a reader never thinking about reading your work again and obsessing over the time they spent in your book or poem. Come to this seminar and sharpen your images. We will look at how a few greats did it, then practice their techniques.

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register. Check your spam box if you don't see it.

The MuseTeacher: Rebekah Coxwell
