Visual Storytelling

This Visual Storytelling workshop will focus on the most important facets of creating a visually engaging script for television, film or video game. We will focus on the themes, motifs and tools utilized in creating motivated characters, realistic worlds, and gripping conflict. We will watch clips from films and analyze for visual storytelling components. We will also workshop each other’s script scenes created from writing prompts within an environment of encouraging feedback.

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register.
