Self-Discovery through Memoir

In this class, we will discover the lens(es) through we which we will look at our lives; we will discover ourselves as a character and learn how to write honestly and compassionately. We will draw correlations between repeated/patterned events. We will attempt to more fully understand the actions of others, which will lead us to more fully understand ourselves. Our primary goal will be to get our pasts on the page. Our next step will be to turn our personal revelations into substantive, evocative, and powerful work for outside readers.

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register.
