Finding Your Author Voice

Your author voice will be the most important factor in your career.  It will make you or break you. Yes, craft is important, finding the right genre is vital and there’s always the element of timing when it comes to the writing profession.  But the key is voice. It is what sets you apart from every other writer on the planet.  Voice is often a mystery but I’ve got a few clues and techniques you can use to help you get a handle on your voice and figure out how to hone it. It will be great if students come to the session with the opening lines of their current writing project.  This will be a comfortable, workshop format.

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register. Check your spam box if you don't see it.
