Once you nail down your core story, you can choose the direction to take it: from hook, to synopsis, to manuscript, to publication. Figuring out where your story belongs in the marketplace is critical to success. In this hands-on seminar, we will discuss genre conventions and why it’s important to understand the risks/benefits of genre-bending. Students can read from their current works-in-progress for feedback/advice from the instructors.
