Beyond The Book: Publishing Panel for Teens

Join The Muse Writers Center for a Q&A with a panel of publishing professionals and MFA students to learn about what literary career paths look like! This panel is geared towards teens; register to attend via Zoom.

MEET THE PANELISTS:

Charlotte Nicole Davis is the critically acclaimed author of The Good Luck Girls series. A graduate of The New School’s Writing for Children MFA program, she currently lives in Brooklyn. Find her on Twitter and Instagram at @cndwrites

Sierra Foltz is the Social Media Coordinator for The Muse and an MFA candidate at Naropa University’s Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics in Boulder, CO. She received her BA in English from The College of Wooster in Ohio. Her poetry and visual art has been published by Dead Alive Magazine, Ctrl. V Journal, and Dream Pop Journal. At The Muse, Sierra teaches sessions as a part of the Teen Writing Workshops and a seminar on Experimental Writing.

Camille Jacobson (she/her) is a writer living in Brooklyn, New York. She received her BA in English from Harvard University in 2018 and is currently an MFA candidate in fiction at Columbia University. She is also a faculty associate with the national teaching initiative Poetry in America, and her work has been featured in Catapult, The Missouri Review, The Paris Review, the Atticus Review, the Cleveland Review of Books, and elsewhere. Additionally, her fiction was nominated from the Porter House Reviews 2021 editorial prize, and she’s received support from Tin House and Kenyon Review workshops. Ashley Woodfolk has loved reading and writing for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Rutgers University and worked in children’s book publishing for over a decade. Now a full-time mom and writer, Ashley lives in a sunny Brooklyn apartment with her cute husband, her cuter dog, and the cutest baby in the world.
