48 Hour Playwriting Festival – 2nd Annual
LTN Norfolk Playwright Collective is back with our Annual 48 Hour Play Festival June 23rd – 25th in collaboration with The Muse Writers Center.
48 Hour Play Festival is a challenge in which teams of playwrights, directors, and actors are assigned a genre, a character, a prop, and a line of dialogue, and have 48 hours to create a short play/one act containing those elements.
Be sure to register now: https://forms.gle/ixyq8ZAwM1U6HUsJ7
On Saturday, June 17th we will host a Character Development WRKSHOP in preparation for the 48HR Play Fest!
This year’s theme is Hero or Villain?
A Hero, is defined by feats of ingenuity and bravery and the pursuit of justice and the greater good. A Villain is often defined by their acts of selfishness, evilness, arrogance, cruelty, and cunning, displaying immoral behavior that can pervert justice OR sometimes not everything is as it seems. It’s up to you to decide!”
