Comic Book Writing

Comics are a magical blend of writing and illustration. But what makes a comic a comic, and not just a picture book? And how do you make one? In this one-off session, we will go over the mechanics of making a comic, as well scripting and have different prompts for exercises. No “talent” for drawing required; comics are for everyone!

Participating Minors: All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (15+ and older only). Families may apply for this workshop in one application!

Registration is being handled directly through the Armed Services Arts Partnership website.

Please Note that this class is open only to active duty military, veterans, and family members or caregivers of veterans/active duty.

The MuseTeacher: Kristin Mehaffey

Prerequisite: Please Note that this class is open only to active duty military, veterans, and family members or caregivers of veterans/active duty.
