5 steps to help you kill procrastination:

  1. Set Clear Goals: Define what you want to achieve and break it into smaller tasks.
  2. Create a Schedule: Plan your tasks with specific time slots using tools like calendars or apps.
  3. Eliminate Distractions: Identify and remove sources of distraction to stay focused.
  4. Use the Pomodoro Technique: Work in intervals of 25 minutes with short breaks in between.
  5. Reward Yourself: Establish a system of rewards for completing tasks to stay motivated.

Rise of the Melody, the most recent release from Muse Teacher, Wendy Higgins, is available today!



Wendy Higgins is the author of Sweet Evil, the first in the trilogy. She was born in Alaska, grew up an Army brat, and lived on five different military bases across the US, finally settling in the Washington, DC, area.

This modern fantasy romance of mystery with Celtic and Gaelic mythology is on sale today, March 5th, 2024!

Teacher Highlight:

Jorja Connelley

Currently, Jorja is a student at ODU. She has a cat and a love for all things spooky. When she's not writing, you can usually find her baking and listening to music. After many years as a student volunteer, library assistant, 2022 Teen Fellow, and Youth Program teaching assistant, Jorja has taught her first class at The Muse. The Youth Program is excited to share her with incoming Young Writers.
