Get Creative in a Summer Class

We have an amazing Summer 2021 online class, workshop, and seminar schedule that starts in June and runs through August. You can find the right class for you by genre or in a searchable calendar and register now. Tuition assistance and flexibility is always available if you need it.

You'll find our introductory classes, workshops, and studios in Poetry, Fiction, Memoir & Creative Nonfiction, Screenwriting, Comics/Graphic Novels, Storytelling, Songwriting, as well as many great classes for Kids and Teens. Plus we have a great series of all-new craft, creativity, research, and professional development seminars... and this summer, all 1-meeting seminars are only $35!

Mikey Mason appears live as part of his house concert mini-tour for people who love what he does. He can't wait to see old friends, meet new friends, and then hang out afterwards. Mikey's music is sometimes comedy, sometimes rock, and sometimes geeky. Sometimes it's all three. But it's always good. Mikey's 11 albums and 6 EPs feature songs about his lifelong love for fantasy, science fiction, cats, and video and role-playing games. Limited free seating. Women Writers in Translation

As people are becoming vaccinated, The Muse Writers Center is re-opening its physical space. Most of our summer classes will remain online.
  • From now on, we will be open to the public for people to use our space to write, meet others, and learn more about The Muse four days a week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Everyone is invited to our Grand Re-Opening Celebration on Saturday August 21, from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. More information will be coming soon.
  • The Muse has installed is installing an iWave-R air purification system that uses needlepoint bipolar ionization (NPBI) cold plasma technology to sanitize the air, killing viruses, bacteria, and mold.
