We have scheduled this session as a mostly online session; classes will be held using Zoom. We are hopeful that we will be able to add a few in-person classes as the session progresses in the spring, and perhaps even offer some hybrid classes. We appreciate your patience. We just want to ensure everyone's health and safety during the pandemic. To participate in online classes, students must have a stable internet connection with a computer or device with a webcam and microphone.

VA Festival of the Book: The Write Start Moseley Speed Critique Panel
This virtual event hosted by The Muse Writers Center is part of the 2022 Virginia Festival of the Book. Submit your first one hundred words of an original, unpublished manuscript for a speed critique by members of the Moseley Writers Group. A Reading and Conversation with David Weber

Join The Muse for a reading and conversation with one of the greatest science fiction authors of our era, David Weber. After a brief talk, David will read from his work, and then have ample time for questions. The event is free and open to the public, and is supported in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

- The Muse Writers Center's physical space is open for people to write, meet others, and learn more about The Muse four days a week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. See our Locations, Hours, & Directions page for more information.
- You must be vaccinated (those 12 and older) to enter The Muse's physical space. You are required to wear a mask upon entering. Once inside, if you are in a room by yourself, you may remove your mask. But if two or more are gathered in one room or public space, you must wear a mask.
- The Muse has installed is installing an iWave-R air purification system that uses needlepoint bipolar ionization (NPBI) cold plasma technology to sanitize the air, killing viruses, bacteria, and mold.
