To participate, students must have a stable internet connection with a computer or device with a webcam and microphone. See classes by genre or in a searchable calendar. Creative Writing INDOC: Putting Military Stories on the Page (Now Online)

Saturday, May 23, 1-4 p.m., Online, More information
Brought to you by The Muse Writers Center & The Slover Library. Learn everything you need to know to start sharing stories. As a member of the United States military, you are bound to have many unique experiences. Rather than trying to explain to someone that “they had to have been there,” learn the skill of creative writing and put your stories on the page so they can come alive and be experienced by every reader. Learn the practical basics or sharpen your skills with the help of two veterans who are seasoned writers. The class is free for all active duty, veterans, family, and caregivers of the U.S. Armed Forces. This workshop and others made possible in part through the National Endowment for the Arts.

A BIG Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, liked, and/or sent great energy our way during Give Local 757, on Tuesday, May 12, 2020! This year, we raised $31,212 from about 486 generous donors. And this year, we won the third place grant for third most overall donors. This is all because of your support, and we are grateful beyond belief... The generosity of our community is so very much appreciated!

Even though this event is concluded, you can always donate to The Muse.
