The Muse Writers Center is participating in Give Local 757 on Tuesday, May 10 (all day, from midnight to 11:59 p.m.).

Make Your Pledge Now

Fill out our pledge form today to receive an email, call, or text on May 10 as a friendly reminder to donate.

Visit our website to learn more about our fundraiser. If you are able to donate $10 or more to The Muse during this online fundraiser, we would certainly appreciate it, but if you are not able to donate, you can still help us by spreading the word and sharing our Facebook event.

We have Great News! A generous donor has given us a challenge. If we can raise $40,000 in one day during Give Local 757, they will donate an additional $20,000 to our organization. Please help us reach our goal.

Please remember that only donations made on Tuesday, May 10 will count toward grant prizes and our challenge.

Summer 2022 Class Schedule Announced!

We have an amazing Summer 2022 In-Person, Online, & Hybrid class, workshop, and seminar schedule that starts in June and runs through August. You can find the right class for you by genre or in a searchable calendar and register now. Tuition assistance and flexibility is always available if you need it. Just check that box on the payment form.

You'll find our introductory classes, workshops, and studios in Poetry, Fiction, Memoir & Creative Nonfiction, Screenwriting, Comics/Graphic Novels, Songwriting, as well as many great classes for Young Writers and Teens . Plus we have a great series of all-new craft, creativity, research, and professional development seminars

In-Person, Online, & Hybrid Classes

  • Online classes meet over Zoom; you can take them from anywhere.
  • In In-person classes, everyone will meet at our physical center.
  • Hybrid classes are where it's your choice whether to attend In-Person or through Zoom each class meeting. We have installed an excellent hybrid system to ensure both In-Person and Zoom students have the same great experience. The instructor will host the class in a physical Muse classroom.

Return of In-Person Adult and Youth Camps

We are offering several in-person creative writing camps for kids and teens, and we are also featuring the return of our in-person Creative Writing Camp for Adults.

What Should You Take Next?

In most of our genre areas, we have created a "#2" class that comes in between the "#1" class-level and the workshop-level. If you don't see a "#2"-level class in your genre, then it's fine to move to the workshop-level. If you are already in the workshop-level, it's fine to stay with your teacher or explore other teachers or genres.

In Addition to Our Regular Classes, Teachers from Around the Country Are Offering:
