We’ve been taught from a very young age that we should share. Sharing is good. Share your cookies at lunch, share your toys with your siblings, share your positive attitude, share your resources!

And as 2025 comes to a close, we are excited to share, with gratitude and excitement everything we’ve accomplished together at The Muse Writers Center in 2025!

This year, we offered more classes, workshops, readings, and events than ever before, welcoming tens of thousands of participants. Because of our generous community we were able to share resources in the form of scholarships to help remove barriers for those wanting to take classes, while our community programs brought the joy and power of storytelling to youth, seniors, veterans, and others who benefit from creative self-expression and wellness.

Locally and across Virginia, the U.S., and the world, incredible stories have been shared, while people’s voices and connections have blossomed.

Our center remains a gathering place for writers, readers, and artists who want to share their creativity through open mics, special guest lectures, and collaborative community projects.
