Lili Louzhi Nizankiewicz holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from Old Dominion University and a BA in English from Regent University. She is the former program director of ODU Writers in Community and the former nonfiction editor of Barely South Review. Her writing gravitates toward the themes of fixations, myth versus reality, adoption, Asian American identity, trauma/abuse, and healing/progress. Her work can be found in Odyssey Online, Her Campus Regent, and Norfolk's Poetry on the Pavement Project. She currently resides in Maryland with her husband and works at Maryland Carey School of Law.
