Alison Schoew
Wordsmith Alison Schoew is fascinated by language. She holds an MA in Applied Linguistics (study which only further fueled her passion for language and dialect), and has taught both at ODU and at The Muse Writers Center.
Some of her favorite moments are spent writing with a roomful of people to a specific cue, and then listening (as they share their words) to the spectrum of voices that that specific prism provokes.
Her aim is to help students jumpstart their writing in a positive, engaging, immediate, and not-even-slightly-threatening environment.
