Karrie Loomis
Karrie Loomis, a U.S. Navy Veteran, is the author of, The Rocking Horse, a stranger-danger middle grade fiction and currently writes metaphysical/visionary fiction and personal essays. Karrie serves on the Executive Board for Hampton Roads Writers as the Treasurer. And she is the facilitator and host of Ego Break Writers Retreats, which focus on creativity and character development. Karrie discovered The Muse in 2015 and has been a regular student, volunteer, host, and outreach teaching artist. She holds a M.A. in transpersonal psychology from Atlantic University and a B.S. in psychology with a minor in world religions from Old Dominion University. Karrie is also a Reiki Master, meditation mentor, and writing mentor.
