Wyatt Key

Wyatt Key is a writer born in Southern California based out of Chesapeake, Virginia. Much of his early childhood was spent moving to new states, countries, and towns. He lived in Germany on the Ramstein Air Base for many years before finally putting down roots in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake with his mother, father, little brother, and standard poodle, Mars. Between juggling the heavy course-load of his IB classes at Oscar Smith High School, he likes to spend his free time writing poetry, spinning horror stories based on Appalachia and folklore, watching art movies, and participating in as many clubs at his school as possible such as Model UN and Environmental Protection Club. He has won awards and grants for essays submitted to the Elie Wiesel Writing Competition, The Muse Writers Fellowship, and the NATO ACT center in Norfolk. He hopes to continue studying English in college with a minor in Political Science.
