Leslye Reaves

Leslye PJ Reaves is a full-stack web developer with over seventeen years of professional experience. She holds a B.A. in Film, with a Computer Science minor, from Howard University and a M.A. in Multimedia from California State University, East Bay. Leslye has worked at Morgan State University, where she coordinated and managed the school’s website redesign; at Johns Hopkins University's Digital Media Center and teaching for the Carey School of Business; and government service provider BRTRC, where she developed multimedia projects for the FAA, FBI, and Department of Defense.

She is also an award-winning author and independent filmmaker. Writing as L. Penelope, her debut novel Song of Blood & Stone (2018, St. Martin’s Press) was named one of TIME Magazine’s top fantasy books of all time. She lives in Maryland with her husband and their furry dependents.
