Pamela's career-based writing has included contracted nonfiction, industry-specific instructional manuals, songwriting, developmental and copy editing (private work), and online/print writing for HamptonRoads.com/The Virginian-Pilot. Now she's harvesting thirty-seven years of poetry, songs, journals and travelogues to create new works—and fun!
Pamela recently took First Place in the Hampton Roads Writers Poetry Contest 2019 with her poem “Mrs. Creekmore’s May Peas”, about the mass shooting tragedy in her home town, Virginia Beach. Her poem “Find Me the Moonflower” was published in October 2019 in the Virginia Bards Central Anthology.
