The WHY behind the WHY of supporting The Muse Writers Center

You might automatically think of the symphony, ballet, theater or opera, but how often do you think of the power of the written word and how transformative it can be as a tool for expression and even stress reduction?  And, across demographic groups, people report that their neighborhood having easy access to the arts and culture amenities make their community a more satisfying place to live. If you’re satisfied and happy in your community, you’re more likely to get involved, support, engage and stay!

Here in Hampton Roads and worldwide, The Muse Writers Center has provided classes, workshops, camps for youth and adults and other creative services to nearly 12,000 grateful citizens.

Nonprofit organizations like the Muse Writer’s Center offer opportunities for creativity, personal fulfillment and self-realization, that allow us to preserve and promote knowledge, cultures, values, and traditions.
