Susan Brockington

Susan holds a B.S. in Sociology from Texas Woman’s University and an M.A. in Spiritual Formation from Regent University. Before her retirement in 2014, she spent over three decades in higher education, working in the areas of recruiting, admission, and advising of Ph.D. students. In the teaching field, she spent over a decade in Cub Scouting, where she held leadership positions at the pack and district levels and taught the religious curriculum to hundreds of boys at the district level. She also spent three years teaching ladies who were in lockdown at the county jail, and spent about five years teaching Sunday School at various churches.

She is passionate about showing others new ways in which to heal, find inner peace, and discover a new person inside of themselves. She also loves teaching how to combine journaling and artistic elements to those who just want to combine these two elements. Susan is also passionate about putting together and leading individuals on various themed walks, such as grief and spiritual walks.

In her spare time, she is an avid cross-stitcher, enjoys putting together jigsaw puzzles, playing board games, and going on mystery trips. She is always willing to share fast facts about things that no one really cares about (Did you know the oldest carousel in the world was made in 1780 and is in Germany at Wilhelmsbad Park?
