Sarah Sheppard

Sarah Sheppard, a Michigan native, received a BA in English Literature and Writing from Saint Mary's College (IN), and an MFA in Creative Writing from Lesley University (MA). She worked for a publishing house in Boston for nearly five years and is now a freelance writer and editor. She currently writes for a marketing agency, a news site, and various organizations. She teaches writing classes in Metro Detroit, volunteers at Soroptomist International, promoting human trafficking awareness, and has published her fiction and poetry in NarrativeNortheast, The Juggler, Chimes, and The Avenue. She has completed two collections of short stories and is working on her first novel.
