Libby Kurz holds a BS in Nursing from UNC-Charlotte and an MFA in Creative Writing from National University. Her work has been published in The Poet’s Billow, Relief Journal, Driftwood Press, and is forthcoming in Literary Mama. Her poetry was awarded first prize in the New Voices category of the Poetry Society of Virginia’s 2017 Contest. She’s a regular contributor at Red Tent Living,, an online, faith-based publication for women. After years of moving cross-country with the US Air Force, she now resides on the coast of Virginia with her family. When she’s not reading, writing, and keeping tabs on her three kids, she works part-time as registered nurse in the operating room.
