Our Teachers

The Muse's instructors are all working writers and published authors who have taught courses at colleges, universities, and other community organizations. Read our teachers’ biographies and see what classes they are currently teaching.

Jessica Grace Kelley

Jessica Grace Kelley started writing novels after spending two years as a book blogger at allthewayya and lifegonewrite.com. She is an alumnus of Author Mentor Match, and her novels have won several contests and awards, including the YA Molly Award, the Emma Merritt Award and the YA Authors.me contest. She is represented by literary agent Christa Heschke at McIntosh and Otis and is working on her fourth fantasy novel.

When Jessica's not buried in books, she spends her time working as the Youth Coordinator for The Muse Writers Center where she manages all youth events, classes, community outreach, and the high school internship program. She especially enjoys working with teens and is the fiction teacher for the Muse Teen fellowship Program. Please email Jessica at Jessica@the-muse.org if you have any questions about upcoming youth events, classes, or if you would like to propose an youth event or youth partnership with The Muse.
