The Muse's instructors are all working writers and published authors who have taught courses at colleges, universities, and other community organizations. Read our teachers’ biographies and see what classes they are currently teaching.

Jessica Grace Kelley

Jessica Grace Kelley started writing novels after spending a year reviewing books on her book blog, lifegonewrite.com. Her novels have won several contests and awards, including the YA Molly Award, the Emma Merritt Award, the YA Authors.me Contest. She is represented by Christa Heschke with McIntosh and Otis.

When she's not buried in books she spends her time working as a YA fiction teacher at The Muse Writer’s Center and has presented a YA workshop with HRW’s Traveling Pen series. She especially enjoys working with teens, and is the lead fiction teacher for the Muse Teen fellowship Program.

Jessica lives by the beach with her G.I. Joe husband, two rambunctious little boys, and two over-sized lap dogs.
