Hayley Daniels
Hayley Daniels-Dyson is a film professor at Old Dominion University. She earned her MFA in Screenwriting at the University of Texas at Austin. Hayley has studied and performed improv, sketch comedy, and stand up comedy for 10+ years, and was a part of the award-winning improv team SwitchBlade in Austin, Texas.
During Hayley’s study of Screenwriting in Texas, she studied under filmmakers including Matthew McConaughey, Richard Linklater, and Jeff Nichols. Hayley developed her own film and television scripts, and was a quarterfinalist for the Humanitas Prize in Comedy Screenwriting.
