Emily Pease

Emily W Pease has published stories in the Alaska Quarterly Review, the Missouri Review, Narrative online, Kenyon Review online, and elsewhere. Her collection, Let Me Out Here, won the C. Michael Curtis Short Story Book Award in 2018, published by Hub City Press. Her short-short, “Church Retreat, 1975,” won the Shenandoah magazine Bevel Summers Prize in 2014, and her flash story, “Foods of the Bible,” won the Crazyshorts! Prize at Crazyhorse magazine in 2015. She has also published poems in One magazine, Rattle (June 2021 winner, Ekphrastic Challenge), and Charlotte Lit. A former writing instructor at William & Mary, she received her MFA in Writing from Warren Wilson College.
