Jen Malia is Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing Coordinator at Norfolk State University. Her children’s picture book, Too Sticky! Sensory Issues with Autism (Albert Whitman, 2020) is based on her own and her daughter’s experiences living with autism and sensory issues. She also writes chapter books and middle grade novels. She has appeared on NPR’s With Good Reason and written for the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Independent, Woman’s Day, Glamour, Self, Catapult, and others.
