Adam Meuse has been producing independent comics for 20 years. Two self-published books, Social Insect and Taking Up Space, were recognized in Best American Comics 2010 and 2019. His self-published mini-comic Sad Animals sold over 10,000 copies and became a bestseller in stores across the country. You're Garbage Fired, a collection of post-2016 presidential election sketchbook pages was published by Birdcage Bottom Books in 2018. His illustrations have appeared in the 2017 Philip K. Dick award-winning novel The Mercy Journals by Claudia Casper. He has also worked in the printing industry for 20 years and currently manages a printing company, Barefoot Press, in Raleigh, NC.
