Cynthia Davis
Cynthia Vacca Davis teaches Composition and Creative Nonfiction at Christopher Newport University. She holds an MFA from ODU and MAT in English Education from CNU. Cynthia served as a judge in an annual high school nonfiction contest that she helped establish in Pennsylvania and also coordinated the Christopher Newport University Writer’s Conference. She has written hundreds of essays and feature stories for the Daily Press and the Oyster Pointer in Newport News, and is currently seeking publication for her completed her first nonfiction manuscript. When she isn’t teaching or writing, Cynthia loves to travel, grow her photography business, and pet her two dogs and three cats. She lives with her husband in a very old and storied home in Hampton.
