Chevahn Brown
Chevahn Brown began her creative journey writing drama and science fiction novels for young adults. She was mentored by screenwriters at The University of Pennsylvania and went on to complete her MFA in Screenwriting for Film & Television from Boston University’s School of Communications. She became immersed with visuals and creating a visual story, taking up videography and producing post-grad. Her thriller television pilot, Kane, placed in the international Final Draft Big Break Contest just as she moved into the world of higher education. She was an adjunct professor of Script for Film at Emerson College and has also taught film courses at Lesley University and Boston University. Often, in her writing, she loves to explore themes of time-space, the multiverse, ancestral ties, and what it truly means to be human or to experience love. Chevahn is now a Show Writer for PocketFM, an online audio webisode platform. She is the Lead Writer for a fantasy-drama, Callum Walker and the Light of Nine, which follows the journey of a 'Harry Potter'-like student of light magic and his adventures in magic school. Chevahn recently moved back to her hometown, Boston, with her young son and daughter.
