Rebekah Coxwell received her MFA from Arcadia University. During her time in graduate school, she was an editor at the small editing company, Rothwell Affordable Editing Services, and for the literary magazine, Marathon. She recently finished her first manuscript, is in the midst of another, and has short stories and poetry published in The New Southern Fugitives, the Opiate, Bridge Eight, 50 Haikus, Brief Wilderness, and Adelaide literary, as well as forthcoming work in A Room of Her Own and Midnight and Indigo.

Kristin Mehaffey makes comics!

Take one of Kristin’s classes! Young Writers Workshop, How to Write Comics & Graphic Novels, The Comic Book & Graphic Novel Workshop.

Kristin Mehaffey, aka @saberdog.art, is our Comics Teacher. Drawing from her past in storyboarding and indulgence of geek media, Kristin has been teaching comics since 2016 to all age groups, backgrounds, and experience levels. She strongly believes comics are for everyone, whether you can only draw a stick figure or are on track to make the next Mona Lisa. Whoever you are, comics are for you. Her summer classes start next week – we’ll have intro courses for the curious and green, and workshops for those looking to hone their material. Young writers classes too! Come learn the wonderful, magical art of comic making.
