Erin Beaty, pioneer of political fantasy for young adults

Once upon a time, a girl came out to her friends and family as a writer, and they all said, “Duh. We were just waiting for day YOU accepted that about yourself.”

This semester, Erin Beaty is teaching the class, “Advanced YA Workshop” beginning on Wednesday, February 10 at 7pm EST.

Take Erin’s class if you want insight into the YA publishing world and what makes YA different from adult books and other children’s books. Erin tailors her class to what her students want out of it, so they could take it over and over.
