Tasty Happenings and Classes at the Muse this New Year
This winter and spring, The Muse Writers Center invites families, foodies, and writers to dive into the rich and creative world of food storytelling. With a variety of workshops and events, there’s something for everyone—from preserving culinary traditions to mastering food photography.
Food for Thought: A Family-Friendly Writing and Dining Experience
Every 2nd Sunday | First Session: February 9, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Imagine sitting down with your family to enjoy a delicious, catered plant-based meal while exploring your cultural roots through writing. That’s exactly what “Food for Thought” offers. Led by the talented Lissette Lorenz, this workshop brings families together to reflect on food, family, and culture. Using recipes and meals as a starting point, participants craft stories that celebrate their heritage and gain insights into the traditions of others.
Meals are provided by Support+Feed, a nonprofit committed to sustainability and food security through plant-based food. Generational families are encouraged to attend, but children must be accompanied by a guardian. Sign up now, as space is limited!
