Donations in Memory of Barbara Taylor

Barbara’s son, Michael, is the founder of this literary nonprofit, and she was a big support to the organization’s mission since its founding.

Last year, The Muse Writers Center provided more than $28,000 in tuition assistance to nearly 250 students and awarded three college scholarships. We offered nearly 300 classes and served more than 1,500 students (from age 6 to post-retirement), and The Muse gave writers a voice, organizing readings, open mics, and writers events that reached more than 12,000 adults, teens, and kids. The Muse’s vibrant outreach program reached more than 2,000 by taking our programs to senior living communities, youth programs & schools, and military & veterans groups.
