I agree to a criminal background check. Criminal background checks may not be used as the sole reason for denying employment, unless it is job-related. Regardless, the organization has the right to make the final decision about employing an individual after the background check is complete. The Muse will make every effort to evaluate the nature and circumstances of the conviction. With the safety and well-being of co-workers at stake, convicted employees may be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
