Writing Through Writer’s Block

Call it Writer’s block… stumble, stall, seizure, pause, stop, or burnout. No matter the name, writer’s block can invade our head for one project or everything we try to write, from one day to a month to a lifetime.

When it happens, the usual advice is to “keep writing.” Sometimes that works. But getting to the root cause of the block can help the stalled writer understand and then address the particulars, increasing the odds of a return to writing success.

In this seminar, we will look at the who, what, where, when, why, and how of blocks, what we can do to overcome them, and techniques to beat them down, keep them away, or at least sidestep them.

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register.
