Writing Through Death and Dying

Whether you are confronting the end of your own life or the loss of a loved one, death and the dying process is extremely difficult. Frequently, the subject is difficult to talk about or find support willing to listen. Sometimes, talking about death isn’t enough. We need other embodied ways to express our experience. In this course, we will explore our individual experience of death through writing and integrative art activities such as low-skill painting, music, meditation, and movement.

** Content warning: some may be writing about difficult moments in their lives.

Please note: This class or event is in-person. Currently, you do not have to show proof of vaccination to attend events or visit our center. Please read all our re-opening guidelines and important information before you visit.
