Writing Gay Erotic Poetry
Since we learned to write, erotic poetry has been part of the corpus of poetry. Gay erotic poetry was always present, if subdued. We’ll do a quick timeline, from Gilgamesh to Danez Smith, and explore the different kinds of erotica, from romantic to pornographic, and then we will write prompted poems and share and discuss (you don’t have to share if you don’t want to.) There will be poems and prompts to go home with you. So, let’s write together and get, well, horny.
