Using Visual and Graphic Aids in Planning, Writing and Revising a Novel

Do you sometimes get stuck when planning or revising your novel? Unleash your nonlinear and creative mind in this workshop with middle grade author (and sometime artist/illustrator) Sylvia Liu, who will share different ways of envisioning your project from start to revision. Come with an idea for a new novel and a draft you are revising/drafting, and we will make mind maps, worldbuild with Trello boards, diagram and color code plot points, explore vision boards/playlists, chart and color code revisions, and more. Bring both a journal/writing pad and a laptop. All other supplies will be provided.

Please note: This class or event is in-person and will be held at our center.

The MuseTeacher: Sylvia Liu

Prerequisite: Open to writers of all levels of experience
