Using Artificial Intelligence to Create Cover Art, Story Illustrations, and Visualization Prompts

Recent breakthroughs in AI have led to incredible artwork being created digitally. Using creative prompts for the AI to draw from lets users make images in all sorts of styles, genres, and contents. Writers benefit from these applications in a myriad of ways. Print-quality images suitable for book covers and chapter or short story illustrations are now within anyone’s reach. Even graphic novel and comic book art is possible. And if you need inspiration, using rough concepts can give you unending artwork ideas to build stories from. If you know how to use the programs, that is.

This session will teach you how to get set up with an image AI program, how to create great images from various text prompts, and how to navigate the nuances of this new resource. When you leave, you’ll be ready to create great art for your stories!

Students will need a laptop or tablet to attend–if you can surf the net on it, it will work for this class. Due to technical limitations, class is offered in-person only.

Please note: This class or event is in-person and will be held at our center.
