In a busy world of technological connectivity, we are constantly being bombarded with the suggestions and opinions of other people. All the noise of these outside influences can make it hard to navigate our own personal realities. In ThoughtRadio, we’ll explore our emotional selves while taking the time to play with different perspectives outside of our own.

We’ll discuss and celebrate the beauty of our unique-ness and give voice to the discomfort of being labeled and judged unfairly by others. We’ll listen to a variety of musical styles and use both individual and group writing exercises. Ultimately, we will create original songs that embody a variety of emotions within our own personal Thought Radios. In doing so, we’ll work on finding the “dial” to tune in to more helpful messages and turn down the ones that aren’t serving us.

Hosted by Slover Library in partnership with the Muse Writers Center.
