The Yearlong Genre Fiction Studio with Wendy Higgins
Embark on an immersive 11-month journey to craft your genre fiction manuscript with the guidance of Wendy Higgins, a USA Today and New York Times bestselling author renowned for her young adult and adult genre romance, including fantasy, paranormal, sci-fi, mythology, and contemporary works. With years of experience navigating the publishing world, Wendy has successfully collaborated with major publishers like HarperCollins and has also embraced independent publishing, making her uniquely positioned to mentor writers in today’s evolving literary landscape.
This advanced-level program is designed for writers serious about honing their craft and completing a book-length manuscript. Meeting twice monthly, participants will have the opportunity to submit up to 30 pages for detailed feedback from Wendy and their peers, fostering growth in storytelling and the development of a strong, compelling voice. Wendy’s industry insights and personal experience with both traditional and independent publishing will provide invaluable guidance on crafting a standout manuscript and understanding the business side of writing.
In addition to in-depth workshops, this program offers a supportive and collaborative environment where writers encourage one another to push through challenges and stay focused on their creative goals.
