The Snowflake Plotting Workshop: The Easy Way to Create a Story

Want to write a novel, but are stuck figuring out how to start? Or maybe you already have a great synopsis–but how do you convert it into ninety-thousand words? By popular request, this former class has been expanded into a two-session workshop! We’ll explore this remarkable method to take a simple idea and build it into a story of any length and genre, fiction or nonfiction. Whether you write novels, short stories, or screenplays, Snowflake Plotting is the best way to create the foundation for your work. With this easy technique, you’ll produce everything from an elevator pitch up to a spreadsheet of scenes/chapters showing word counts, pivot points, act breaks, and much more. Whether you’re a “pantser” or “plotter,” this workshop will change your life and lead you into the land of effective and productive writing.

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register.
