The Fundamentals and Forms of Poetry

This five-session class introduces the core elements of poetry, including image, sound, line, voice, and form. Through reading, discussion, writing exercises, and peer feedback, students will explore a range of poetic techniques and experiment with both traditional and contemporary forms. Suitable for beginners or poets looking to refresh their foundation, this class provides the tools to begin or deepen a poetry practice.
